Beaches and cliffs
Wide sandy beaches sit beneath honey-coloured cliffs, with plenty of space even in summer.

LISBON AIRPORT TO A DOS CUNHADOS
A dos Cunhados is a quiet coastal village in the Torres Vedras area, known for golden cliffs, long beaches and a relaxed pace. It is about 56 km from Lisbon Airport and the drive takes around 50 minutes.
Public transport to this stretch of coast is limited, which makes a private transfer the easiest way to arrive. Your driver takes you straight to your accommodation, with room for luggage, beach gear and surfboards on request.
WHAT TO SEE
Wide sandy beaches sit beneath honey-coloured cliffs, with plenty of space even in summer.

Coastal paths along the clifftops give long views over the ocean.
Peniche, Lourinhã and the medieval town of Óbidos are all within easy reach for day trips.
THE JOURNEY
The journey runs north from Lisbon on the motorway and finishes on regional roads through farmland towards the sea. The last stretch is quiet and scenic, and journey times are usually steady outside peak summer weekends.
