The old town
Pedestrian streets, pastelarias and seafood restaurants sit around the fishing harbour and the town beaches.

LISBON AIRPORT TO CASCAIS
Cascais is a former fishing village that became a royal summer retreat and is still one of the most popular seaside towns near Lisbon. From the airport it is about 38 km, or around 49 minutes by road.
We take you door to door, whether that is a hotel in the old town, a villa on the coast or the marina. With a fixed price confirmed in advance, you can start your holiday as soon as you land.
WHAT TO SEE
Pedestrian streets, pastelarias and seafood restaurants sit around the fishing harbour and the town beaches.
Waves crash into a sea cave in the cliffs a short walk west of the centre.
The 16th-century fortress overlooks a lively marina with cafés and boat trips.
Wide Atlantic beaches loved by wind and kite surfers lead on to the westernmost point of mainland Europe.
THE JOURNEY
Your driver will usually take the motorway towards the coast, then follow the seafront road into town. Summer weekends and Friday evenings are the busiest times, so we plan the route around the traffic on the day.
